I've no idea where this should go [ in the bin I dare say lol!!].. But I've been considering buying these discs with methodist registers on, but keep thinking I'll be duped..
Has anyone ever bought these discs and if so are they any good?

Hi Tracey,
I haven't bought any, but they sound interesting as my ancesters were Methodists. Are the records just for one area, or different areas too?

Hi Jan, I just typed in Ebay, genealogy cd, and up came many many discs for different areas.
I'm from Newcastle and can't get up there to find out anything from libraries and such, and am now living in Cornwall [ where it seems some of my great great grandparents were born ].. so figured these discs might be worth a try.
But yeah there are loads of different areas, so I might just give it a go and see what I get

Hi Tracey,
I'll go and have a look on ebay and see what they have on there.
Good luck with yours.

There is information for all these Cornish CDs on the www.cornwalllegacy.com site, and they can be purchased from there.
Both the Anglican(church of England) parish registers and the Methodist ones seem to be available.

Thanks Hilary, I didn't know such a site existed.
Gonna take a look see if I can find something which may help.

Many thanks :o) x
