General Chat

hi i have asked g/r to sticky the one on the general board as well becoursr not all the member,s use the chat board . msc

msc, it's only my opinion but I would have thought one stickied support thread for Jean was enough. When her vision allows, she looks in and if not, her lovely daughter does it for her and it would make more sense to have everything on one thread for them on the board that she looks at

i thought that as some people dont use chat it was only fair they can share in our good wishes.

Uggers, it is a fact that a lot of people never go on the chat board and they still want to show their respect.

msc and Ann, I do understand that but thought it's not much effort for someone to go onto a different board to add to a thread but is a lot more effort for Jean and Jane.

As long as they know it's here that's true, but in all fairness as Ann said, many just don't move from general to chat. Myself, I rarely if ever go on general, so I missed my own birthday thread! I didn't even know it was on there lol.

I don't see the need for two stickies though, one is enough, but perhaps someone can add a thread letting people know it's on chat?

Maybe somebody could copy and paste from the gen thread to the chat one.

I added my threads URL to the one on General this morning.
My thread has been going since yesterday evening.

I think its a sensible Idea to have the one stickied thread on here, as Jean mainly uses this board, and as said its easier for Jane to navigate to the one thread rather than to several boards.
