hi guys thanks for your replys on this

little ladys calmed down a bit now, tho she doesnt sleep after taking it, stays awake all day playing,
my daughter decided to not give it to her after and tried her just on an inhaler, ventolin liquid has always had this effect on kids, it says sugar free, yet its syrup , so that surely in itself is sugar, anyway, like Karen says im sure it speads up the heart rate,
i didnt like the effect it had on grandaughter in that you hold her trying to talk to her and she s looking above you around you, cant make eye contact cos shes completely away with the fairies, bless her,

daughter is just recovering herself from this cough, thankfully shes on her toes with little one, shes normally such an easy child to take anywhere, i certainly couldnt cope with that again now,
my doc told me yesterday its a croupy type infection thats had a lot of cases in the last few weeks,

Hi Karen,

Julie, your daughter has to have her litte one's records marked so they don't give her anything that will make her hyperactive like that. I am so glad my son was born when the doctors didn't hand out so much stuff, he only had a small amount of Calpol sometimes and some drops for an ear infection once - that was fun, had to call the doc out late in the evening and he gave me some drops in sachets I think they were. My lad was about two and I had to sit on him to get the drops in his ear - I was alone in the house with him (single parent) and had no one to call to help hold him still as it was about midnight. Afterwards I thought the doctor should have stopped and helped me really, it was not my usual doc. If it hadn't been so horrid with my lad crying in pain, it would have been almost funny!

Julie, surely she should be prescribed something without the ingredient that is making her hyper, there must be something else available. It will make your daughter get run down trying to cope with littley while she is like that.

hope you are feeling better

bless her little socks she got ventolin liquid , doc gave her this week,
i warned daughter it may make her hyper,

well it has, daughter said no way can i cope with the all time, lol

grandaughter thinks everythings fabulous, shes running dancing, jigging, on the spot, laughs at absolutely everything, even the invisible,
such a bright little thing she is normally and now shes more excited

it seems the wonder drug for lots of problems,

the down side is i dont think she sees any dangers on that stuff,
that was the reason ive discovered now, 23 years later after living on the edge of my nerves with her mammy
