Thankyou I will tell....
Granson just turned on his laptop and the screen is wrong way round.. He would have to turn computer like a book to read the screen and then type sideways..
it was fine first thing... now it isn't.

I suppose it's gone portrait not landscape.
He's looked in display but can't find any help.. He is 12

OOh. Right he's got it the right way but now the graphics are large..
He found his way into screen solutions and he's reading through a very long list ....

Ok
He is on vista so it's a bit different to mine.
I am on xp so me trying to help is like chalk and cheese LOL

Think he will have to wait for Grandad to get home at 4..

At least it's the right way now..

OOH spoke too soon he just rebooted and it's come back on sideways but then when put password in it comes up the right way.. but still large.

"Hot" keys are usually ctrl+alt+ one of the arrow keys

these should rotate the screen......in the direction of the arrow

I used to get that problem playing one of the Tomb Raider games, using a combination of buttons to get Lara to perform a complex move duplicated the hot key commands.
However the hot keys wouldn’t always sort it out completely I found system restore was often the best solution.
