My iron has just gone bang.
Have put a new fuse in and it went bang again~looks like i need a new iron......................

What make of iron would you choose?

me too, thats what the problem is , flippin steam,

i was sure mams ironing was better than mine without her steam iron,
i find um heavy, and they always spit out dirty water on your clothes when you iron something to wear out

Chances are( unless you have done something silly,) is that it's is the lead where it enters the iron........a very vulnerable point, where the lead is constantly in motion, the wires fray and then overheat, burning their way together eventually, its possible that a new lead is all it needs,.......
