Blinky hell Yvette - thats some speed reading - I read a lot of legal documents in my day to day work and am known for my speed and accurateness, but I cant do a book in hour, 4 or 5 is my average. |

i agree about Patterson's chapters being too short, makes me feel really cheated when i've finished the book in less than an hour :-( |

NP Uzzi, I think they are all lent out but if I see one laying about ill PM you. Hes not expensive either as his books exept new are all in paperbacks now. The colour of Law I think was my first read, the latest I think was called The Perk, but there was a very good one whose title escapes me in the middle. |

I got bored with a lot of my thriller writers last year, a freind lent me a book by a chap called Mark Gimenez - hes new and had only written three books Ive devoured them all and have his next on pre order. I think Patterson, Deaver, Cornwall and Riechs fanz will love him. |

My whinge about James Patterson is that his chapters are all short - less than one or two pages per chapter....Each chapter begins half-way down the page leaving the top half blank, then ends on a quarter or half way down a page, leaving the bottom half blank! |
