some of My ancesters are all in a book called Benwick bygones and My dad is in a book called the classic haulier, I do not own either of these but I think I will get them before they go up in price as yours did, as its nice toown them.

Joy, why don't you go to www.archive.org and search for the book there? They hold copies of many out of print books, plus, if you can get it printed on the expresso book machine for a snip, something like 10p a page or less. Just google it, you can order online, and if it's on the archive site, it will be in their list.

Second to that, you can download a copy from the archive site on PDF for nothing and print it yourself, but you won't get the results with that.

I have a book here that mentions my favourite ancestors .......it also contains a copy of a postcard from 1917 from one of the daughters to her brother (serving in the war) telling him that she was unable to go to school because it had been closed down due to illness. It was a great buzz when I found it as my friend bought it for me as a present for my birthday and I had no idea they were in it before that xx

i found that my gggrandfather was in a book and couldnt get a copy as it was out of print, there was also a website that talked about him alot so i emailed the owner of the website explaining who i was. It turned out if was also the author of the book and sent me a copy from his private store. What a lovely man!

i have found a number of books that mention my family
i usually buy them
but the one i want the most is now out of print
so i borrowed it from the library and photo copied it
as it had a photo of my gt gt gt grandmother
