Silly Sausage

Silly Sausage Report 24 Oct 2009 12:04

As I can feel myself getting more and more drawn in to the dreaded Xfactor, I vowed 3 years ago never to watch the show again, after the very creepy brother and sister act got thro to the final of 2007, when everyone voted for a young Scottish lad whom name for the life of me I cant remember. He was sweet yep but talented no way, of course he is breaking headlines now and never out of the charts with his 1 million record deal, why did he win of course because everyone or any one with an ounce of Scottish blood in their veins voted for him.

I did watch last year’s final and thought Alex was a very worthy winner. Then came the change of the audition shows, now you are allowed to sing any old carp with the help of a mic and music with the deluded family of the some of the contested screaming in the back ground, I saw one that of Jamie Hairdoo and yes he is talented and certainly an entertainer. Still couldn’t bring myself to watch anymore.

However I do enjoy the live shows, I cant be doing with boys that cry all the time or girls for that matter, but I do love to listen to someone who can hold a note. So the question I am now asking myself is why I am getting all concerned about if or not will the The Twit twins make it though another week? I have even been on the sun news paper site to see if there is anything about them on there, scary I know, Louis has promised us a performance of a life time, all though the boys dragged up as Britany last week takes some beating, ** the break in the song where twit 1 handed twit 2 a necklace ** best TV moment ever as we hid behind cushions cringing, so now I am asking myself , WHY?, Do you think I need help?

it's addictive, you can't help yourself...it is an irresistable urge to partake of something slightly seedy ... a bit like looking through the window of a sex shop without taking the plunge and going inside ...you know you shouldn't peep but comfort yourself with the thought that you haven't gone 'too far' ( like voting for instance LOL),

Uggers

Uggers Report 24 Oct 2009 12:09

Yes but not especially because you want to watch the X factor

Rambling Report 24 Oct 2009 12:10

No but seriously.. I think it is when you have begun to feel an empathy with the acts, whether it is because they are talented or because you think 'nice kid hope he does ok'....

YOu watch it because you just love to have something to moan about....*tsk*

X-factor has come up with some good ones, though, but I think Leona will probably be the best ever for a very long time. Alex WAS a worthy winner last year, though I don't think she's more outstanding than some of the popstars who used the conventional route to get where they are. But she is good.

Twit twins...well they clearly had the sympathy vote because of Louis, and Stephen Gately last week. There was no way anyone could have thought that performance was better than the two who ended up in the sing-off. They have to go this week surely?

But, it's open to the public vote, and that is the risk you take. Not everyone is going to agree, and not everyone is going to vote for the same reasons. Clearly twit twins didn't get voted on talent. It's the downside of 'audience participation' I suppose.

Ello Teresa the people I know who have voted for TT is because they think they are funny,

You know people who have openly admitted voting TT? Didn't you punch them?

Just goes to show though. They thought they were funny, so they voted for them rather than allow someone with a modicum of talent continue in the show.

Just wait, if they do ever end up in the bottom two, there will be three definite votes against them from the judges and they will be gone.
