Unfortunately on the GR tree you can not delete a person who has more than one link, so if there are descendants or partners you have to delete them first. You can not delete yourself either. So, you can delete a child from its parents, but only after you have deleted all its children and any spouses. |

BUT BEWARE... I've found that if I export my tree from GR as a Gedcom it screws up all the dates - so when I re-import it most of the 'year' information is missing... and with 18,700 records that's a bit of a problem! |

Ah Simon so it is not only me that has had that problem. I decided to give up on that as I was not happy with it at all. |
