See.... I KNEW some of that 'tat' would be useful one day.
Grandson asked for a walking stick, needed for a prop in a theatre group play he's been working on, over half term

I knew just where to find one !!
I wonder where it came from? O.H. is 6ft and it is obviously for someone alot taller than him.

My grandmother gave her victorian jug and bowl away to the local Rep for their amatuer plays in the 1920's. Mum said it was raining cats and dogs that night and the man arrived to collect them, dripping wet, he was; strapped them in his bicycle basket and went off, pleased as punch.

I would be pleased as punch to have them now! :-( Still, they went to a good home.

I can't see any future generations wanting our rubbish.

Why is it ?.... if you need it... you have thrown it out 6 months ago.

If you don't need it... it is just cluttering up space... chuck it out.... and you will need it in 6 months time.
