I have spent five hours on my tree and am getting no-where with this one lot. Do I need to get a grip and realise there is more important stuff than my ancestors?

It is Saturday, Uggers.... don't you do *lie-in's* on a Saturday?

I still can't read lists... makes me seasick, lol... but have new specs later today... so I'll join you tomorrow morning in the Islington Parish wotsits, lol if my new specs work. :¬))

Look out all you Impey's and Hammonds... I'm coming to get you!! lolol

You must be heartily sick of your tree.

If I send you mine, would you spend five hours on it as well?

Yesterday I worked on a new line for a good bit of the day. I had a headache by the time I finished but it was soooo satisfying. All because I received a marriage cert. in the mail. It sent me back 4 generations all on Ancestry's parish records for Kent.

Well I am pleased for you, Sue. And not at all bitter cos I am stuck on this one great x 4 grandmother.

I do detect a note of facetiousness in your comment but in the light of you getting up so early I will overlook it.

It annoys be that I can go back so far with OH's family and be stuck on my paternal line. I can't get past 1805.
