lol

What is your opinion on Ann Summers shops being in the high street, or as the one near to me, shopping centre? Do you find the undies in the windowtacky and /or offensive? do you think ( this being the topic on other site ) that a notice saying 'we wish you a very h***ny Christmas' is "disgusting" if it can be viewed by all ,( also children).

Errrm well ours is in the main shopping pedestrian zone next to M&S, but to be honest i barely (excuse the pun lol) notice it - maybe cos it's been there a few years now or i'm just immune to it lol

It's just quite fascinating McAnne, not Ann Summers itself lol, just the response to it ...

I walk past the one here a lot as it's by the supermarket , and if I do look, it's usually because some colourful undies have caught my eye.... but they don't do my size lol

Our nearest Ann Summers is in Liverpool but I did walk passed M&S a few weeks ago and they had underwear on display in the windows. It wasn't the 5 pairs for £6 type either so I don't see the difference.

As for the horny christmas that would go over the heads of children, even if they bothered to read it (assuming are old enough to be able to read). There was mention of pantomimes in one of my modules a couple of weeks ago and it was mentioned that there are often some quite risque jokes in panto that go over the heads of children because they simply don't understand what it means.

I don't particularly like the ad slogan, and like Karen I feel the same about French Connection UK.

But as to the actual Anne Summers shops, I usually glance in the window and think 'I wish!' Everything is so pretty,,,,,, and miniscule which I am not!!

Yes stray the parties can be fun, about 15 years since I went to one, they were risque then goodness knows what goes on now, but they were a good laugh.
