Poor little mite, what a start to life. The one consolation is that whichever she has (AML or ALL, they are unable to distinguish at the moment) the treatment is so much better now, and she has a very good chance of survival into adulthood, much better than even three or four years ago... but no parent wants to hear such a word used in connection with their little baby. My heart bleeds at the thought of the treatment they are going to have to watch her go through.

Shanna, I shall be thinking of you very very hard, sweetheart, with prayers, and crossed fingers, also for your mummy and daddy, as they have a very difficult year or so ahead.

Loads of love and gentle (((((((((((hugs))))))))

Love

DOCTORS IN SCOTLAND ARE TREATING A 13WEEK OLD BABY GIRL WHOM THEY BELIEVE WAS PROBABLY BORN WITH THE ILLNESS.
LITTLE SHANNA MCHUGH IS BELIEVED TO ALSO BE THE YOUNGEST CHILD EVER TO HAVE BEEN TREATED.
