Bless poor wee thing my cat alice is the same she hates them hides below the bed will be glad when its all over i dont let her out after teatime on bonfire night |

Awe Shimms, my heart goes out to you and Cass. My current dog is not bother by it, but I have had ones in the pst who have been greatly toubled. And it is not Nov 5th unitl tomorrow, and I bet we get it all weekenf aswell |

Shimms ,Chester is just the same but he just keeps running backwards and forwards and nothing I do can settle him.Touch wood we haven't heard fireworks yet.I know in the kennels he used to go to ,they put drops of Rescue Remedy in the water bowls. |

Hi Shimms, try putting all the lights on and turning the telly up distraction is best i know its hard but try not to fuss her as you are rewarding her behaviour, my old lad we lost last year was petrified of them, there is also a cd called scarey sounds available from your vets. |

I always worry about all the animals in the fields and the birds as they have no-one to comfort them.OH thinks I am barmy lol |

The fireworks you can purchase today are miles more powerful than say 20 yrs ago & cheaper.......Also they're used over a much longer period. Its seem most weekends from mid Oct to Jan, there are fireworks being set of. |
