saw the funeral of the soldier in scotland who had been in hospital 7 weeks,
today on tv,
and then olaf the bomb disposal guy brought home,
his wife being held in the arms of a guy to keep her strong,

my heart goes out to them,
and my tears

I too would like to send 5 white roses. May they rest in peace. Such a waste of lives.

To all those that have relations serving out there - may their guardian angels look after them and keep them safe.

And yes Gordon Brown should bring all our troops back to UK . NOW

Love Mary xx

I read that one of the reasons given for us being in Afghanistan is to prevent terrorism in this country. It said that never have the Taliban been guilty of terrorism in other countries and they are not part of Al Quaida (sp). If the Russians couldn't win why do they think we could? Our troops have done their very best and it has not worked so now is the time to withdraw with dignity.

Julie Ann

I was so stunned to hear the news about these five men - I was in tears and couldn't believe what I was hearing. I can't print what I said!
Please add my 5 white roses to your bouquet.

My thoughts & prayers go out to their families.

I'm with you Julie Ann and Jude, it's a horrible cowardly thing to have happened, to young men who should have all their lives in front of them, and I'm not ashamed to say I shed a tear.

It said on the news that the Afghan police force was totally corrupt. If so why are our boys having to trust them. I feel for their families.

Edit, should have added that I am in with the cyber bouquet,
