If made for children you can add, choc. buttons, hundreds and thousands or anything else they li ke on the top to "dress it up " for Christmas

Mine love this alternative desert::-

i packet of ginger buiscuits round or oblong.

small amount of strawberry jam.

small wine glass of sherry (Ribena or blackburrant for children)

large carton of whipping cream or Elmlea whipping.

Method:- give each biscuit a quick dip into the sherry or alternative, don't soak them.
spread a little jam on each one and on a plate place them one behind the other, cover in whipped cream and place in fridge over night. next day slice and serve

Not a recipe as such....

But as a child we always had left over stuffing warmed up on toast for breakfast on Boxing day.....yummy.......and we still have to this day !

Ooh, I think I'm going to like this tasting lark, wish I'd thought of it before

I like but have not tried to make yet, mince pies made with puff pastry and a dollop of thick cream on top, naughty but nice.
