Blankets with sleeves...

Can't believe it was a year since Ros was telling us about the blankets with sleeves in (for keeping snug while watching tv, knitting etc etc) that she had bought people for Christmas.

I see they are now in the Betterware (and Kleeneze too I think) catalogues, price £19.99

I think they would be quite easy to make from fleece fabric or an old blanket or two.

Morning Liz and Susan

I nearly ordered one from my Kleeneze lady then didn't as the weather was still warmish. Think I'll give her a ring later and get one now the weather's turned and there's talk of frost.

Note to self: Must plan ahead more

I have several throws but these ones have the sleeves so easier to do other things while 'wearing' them. I saw one had pockets for your feet too but I have my lovely fleecy indoor boots that I got last Christmas - .o.h. paid for them for me, £15 at Bhs - and they keep my feet and ankles lovely and warm and draught free in this cold house.

A shawl over my knees like a real Grannie, feels very comforting. Dont sit long enough between visits to the small room to get wrapped up in a slanket!

I would be a bit worried about jumping up to answer the phone/door or something and forgetting my feet were tucked in lol

Thanks, Barb, I am ok, just having to think about what to feed o.h. now he is diagnosed diabetic, can't just shove any old grub into him now lol

Glad you're alright Liz, you take care. You've made me smile, I've now got a picture in my head of you covered in your blanket hopping to answer the door, it looks very fetching though lol.
Have a good day

Will be hopping mad if they have sold out Barbra lol

A friend sent me a link (Canadian) to receive one of these blankets as a new product offer, I responded so we'll see if it turns up, if so I'll get the kids to give it to me for Xmas!! They came in royal blue, sage green and burgundy. Can't remember which colour I picked.LOL but ordered 3 so Meg and Colleen can each have one too.
I feel warmer already.
