We got this a few weeks ago. I'm not particularly impressed with it. There are television programmes, other than freeview, that you don't have to pay for, but they are not things that I particularly want to watch. I don't know if the pay-for-view is better value because I don't have anything to compare it to.

What do you have at the moment?

Hi Fiona......I have Sky.... broadband as well, but I haven't been impressed with the broadband at all.... and we never did get the telephone call thing that was supposed to be part of the package.

I am happy with the Sky tv... but as the BT telly is now in our area, I just wondered whether it would be worth bundling it all together.

We didn't have anything other than freeview to start with, so I suppose that I can't really judge. In your position, however, I'd be tempted to stick with Sky. A BT bundle might well be cheaper, but there's probably a reason for that :))

I'm sticking with Sky Daff. I get regular phone calls from BT wanting me to change as I have my broadband with them, but I would lose a lot of the programmes I like. Better the devil you know maybe

Beejay, thank you... That is why I am considering the change... I am happy enough with the telly with Sky... but did wonder if the BT telly would be better or equal to Sky. I do know that Sky broadband is a bit dire compared to BT, lolol!

we are changing to Virgin as keep being told by BT going over my download limit and need something upstair for telly as freeview wont work up there off the ariel we have. Hubby wont have sky on principle friend has had no probs with them although did take a while to set up on phone

Hiya Dawnie... I looked at Virgin last year... the package they were offering wouldn't work in this area.... it probably would now, seeing as the BT telly would now.... it was to do with no update or something... not very techno, am I? lolol

just go on their webite and put postcode in will tell you straightaway if you can get it or not.

If you do go with it get someone who already has it to refer you will get a £30 dicount and so will they
