anyone else noticed petrol/diesel creeping up again when it wa this high before there were boycots now nobody is saying a thing.

If crude has come down and we are in a recession why can they put there prices up.

Because the country has gone to the dogs and they want to rip the very last piece of tax out of us all that they can before we all become as bankrupt as the country is !!! Nice little earner is the duty on fuel.

Petrol here is 108.9...........was 102 a few weeks ago xx

Round here my local Shell and Tesco have sneaked it up from 103.9 to 108.9 in a matter of a few weeks.

I've even seen them put it up twice in one week - and have you noticed it always seems to sneak up at the end of the month - payday time, when everyone is gonna fill up?

Daylight robbery!!!

Shouldn't make MUCH difference Darklord as Darling raised the taxes on Alcohol, tobacco and petrol to offset the VAT reduction.xx

You're right Dawnie - I noticed that yesterday. It was only a little while ago that it was £1 a litre now it's well over that ...

If Tescos become a banking institution they will have taken over the world!

That only leaves a new political party for them to form :-((

surely its all relative?

that brings it to around £5 a gallon, which relatively is what it was when I lived in london,

about an hours money?
unless you were in a really skilled trade....then it was about a half hours money....
