I have not cleaned ours yet but, having noticed that Calgon tablets were causing my washing machine to rust away before my eyes, I finished up the box of tablets in the lavatory pan.

Have found that a little bit of the gel cleans the basin a treat so will probably try it on the shower screen.

Hi Carol

I use vinegar or proprietary window cleaner, together with cheap kitchen roll. The cheaper and rougher the better as it works better than cloths.

We keep a window squeegee at the end of the bath and EVERYBODY squeegees off the shower screen after every shower. This keeps it looking perfectly good for weeks and it just needs a quick wipe down when cleaning the bathroom.

When I DO need to give it a proper clean - after gradual build up of hard water deposits - I use Cif, but, don't need to do this very often.

Vinigar every time. Make a solution of 1 pt water,1 fl oz white vinigar and a squirt of washing up liquid. Put in a squirty bottle and keep in the bathroom,it cleans everything, and is cheap. The bathroom will not smell like a chip shop once the surfaces have dried.

It will help stop scale forming if you remove the shower head and use it manually to rinse the whole shower cubicle with clean water after you shower, I do it while I am inside with water on tepid in case it splashes on me lol
