CALLUM BEST. DID ANYONE WATCH THIS PROGRAMME?
IT'S SUCH A SHAME FOR THESE KIDS WHO ARE GROWING UP WITH ALCOHOLIC PARENTS.
SUCH AN UPLIFTING PROGRAMME TO SEE HIS SON HAS GROWN UP TO BE A DECENT YOUNG MAN.
WHEN YOU CONSIDER HIS PATERNAL G.MOTHER WAS ALSO AN ALCOHOLIC.

Hi Vicky, hope you are ok.

I have seen Callum before on tv and thought then what a lovely young man he has turned out to be, his Mum should be proud of the job she has done under difficult circumstances.
I really felt for him as I watched him cry, and saw him interact with the youngsters talking about their problems too, in such a nice way. It is obvious he is deeply hurt by his childhood difficulties with his Dad and I do hope one day he finds closure and then happiness. I bet he will be a wonderful father if and when the time comes.

Good luck to him and to all young people who have difficult childhoods. Alcohol is such a dreadful thing when it isn't treated with respect, and I think there will be more alcoholics in the future, if the current binge drinking trend continues.
