Hi Carole, g;lad you didn't get caught in it!

it rained a bit while I was out with my lad but piddled down when o.h. cycled home from work, his trousers and sweater are still soaked. He knows the weather is a bit unpredictable but didn't have his wet weather trousers with him, what a dozy idiot! He has two large pannier bags I got him for the bike, and I suggested he puts black bin bags over them to protect them from the weather and road splashes etc but did he, oh no, and then he moaned cos all his stuff including paperwork about diabetes which he took to work to read, got all soggy. I said put things inside carrier bags in the bags, no he hadn't done that either! Sometimes I despair, better safe than sorry but not that dope! I have had to stuff his shoes with paper and put near the gas fire to dry and drape everything else on an airer in front of it to get them dry - pannier bags are on paper too to dry off before he goes to work at 8am!!!

Hope no one else got too soggy
