Dear All

Hello

Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

I am off to watch one of my all time favourite movies
"The Towering Inferno" with my all time favourite actor
Steve McQueen on Channel Five

I might even get a cup of tea brought to me (I hope!)

Play nicely and be good!

Take care.

Best wishes
xx

This film brings back happy memories. Christmas Eve 1976 - during this film on T.V. my younger baby smiled at me for the very first time (not wind!!!)

Elizabeth, I love your threads.

Towering Inferno. That was the film where just as the explosion happened my Mum flicked her cigarette ash. The cinema's ashtray was full and the ash fell on my foot. I spent the next 20 minutes with my foot in the sink in the Ladies. It took months before the molten pop sock came off.

Dear Janet

Hello

Oh dear!

Those were the days when you could smoke in cinemas!

Not now, although folk still munch and crunch on their popcorn and slurp their drinks!

Take care
