The table top air hockey, snooker, and football games... looked at them last week and they ranged from £20 to £30 .... this week only in BHS £15 , along with some good half price toiletry sets and teddy bears. |

What i find abit confusing about buying Christmas stuff is this. Christmas has been in the shops since the end of the summer. Now, in all the magazines and the Radio Times, ooh, and now I come to think about it, in the BBC Good Food Guide, are Christmas foods for different supermarkets. But, even though they are freezable, they are not in the shops, nor is there a message on these adverts, that they are not in store until such a date. I find this very confusing, as I have been twice to T...co for something only to be told they have no Christmas foods in store yet. |

That's a nuisance Julia, I suppose it is all published early to give the longest 'shelf life' for the magazines, and probably the publications are given the lists of foods way in advance . |

I see your point Rose, but it is annoying. I am usually an organized person, and although there is only the two of us also, I like everything in order. This year is abit different, as, I am sure you have seen from some of my previous posts, I frequently go in hospital. I thought that whilst I'm out I'd get on with things. Should hate to be in and out all next month and not be prepared, or I'll have to bag a couple of invites to the Doctors and Nurses Christmas Eve Dinner LOL |

Julia a few days back I was reading that list of things you used to cook...in awe! lol I am not a great cook, nor is it something I enjoy , reminded me of what my mum used to tell me about Christmas when she was little when her mum would be cooking for months , big family gatherings. |
