If you have time a memory album is a nice idea. Difficult because people of that age (counting myself in here) have most things they need. We have found that invitations to Golden weddings usually ask for no presents. So we have taken a bottle of bubbly. Probably something you have spent time on such as an album of photos etc or a photo in a frame would be much appreciated. If you feel that would not be enough and to include the birthday as well you could always get/send flowers as well, or maybe theatre tickets. |

When I was particularly poor, doing a paper round in my thirties, a couple who were very dear to me had their golden wedding. |

Also ,but not as a main gift. you can personalise a Golden Wedding day card on Moonpig.com. I did one for my sister and BIL and put their names and wedding day date and uploaded a picture of their wedding day. This was a group photo that included Mum & Dad (passed away in the 1970/80,s) & also our two elder siblings who passed away in 2000&2001 |

What about a rose bush that they can plant in their garden - that is only any good if they have a garden though. |

They probably have all they need and plenty to dust as well so how about some sort of charitable gift. |

We got our friends a trailing golden rose bush and a bottle whiskey for him, she was 70 the same day, so we got her a lovely bracelet....I am in the process of doing a golden wedding 8x8 album of all the folk who attended their party 120 in all.... |
