Have they changed hot matches? I am getting all the lists but no facility to tick to delete? Is it a glitch or a change?

OK I have just seen Janet's thread, no way am I deleting all those single matches one at a time so I will be ignoring my hot matches from now on.

I'll be ignoring them too! The pages of single matches will just have to build up.

I could never really see the point in single matches anyway; without more info it's very difficult to prove they are the same person, and the owner of the other tree probably isn't going to have anything of any use; if they did they'd have more matches in the first place!

I have received a reply from Estelle saying that if you click on the name to view then delete, it immediately takes you to the next match and therefore is quite quick to delete without keep returning to the hot matches page. I will give it a try but don't think i am convinced.

and I'm getting Hot Matches that don't match any names in my tree!

Never had that glitch before, although I know others have

True but the majority of mine were nowhere near a match. I wont say all because I actually had a single match that was good. I suppose it is just getting used to change. I was impressed actually I sent off a message of complaint and the reply was almost by return so well done Estelle.

I would be a lot happier if, when we look at our page of Hot Matches, the list would include the name of the match, rather than have to open it to find out who it refers to. That would save a lot of time.

The fundamental change appears to be that there is no longer a concept of Ignored Matches. You now Delete Matches and once deleted you are no longer able to see them again.

There is also the concept of a new Super Match where the parents names have matched in addition to the individual.

Have a look at the Help pages for more details.
