Unpleasant, so decided to clean the aluminium teapots. The tannin stains the inside ans I am sure affects the tea. Decided to try Oxi fabric stain remover. Put a scoop of the stuff in teapot and added hot water from tap. It soon began to bubble and swirl about, so I left it for half-an-hour. When it had stopped bubbling I swilled it out, and the pot looked as clean as when new. So the other pot is bubling on the kitchen sink! I have always found it such a chore, scrubbing at the stain with soda and a brush. This was so easy! |

We have the metal ones as the brown ones get broken too often! My pots cleaned beautifully and the tea tasted so much better this morning. The stuff I poured away made a big cleaned area on my sink as well, so now have to do the same to that! |
