Not just because of the old or infirm in winter but there are more suicides at this time of year then thro' the whole year.

I remember getting a letter from a friend in the Seychelles.

She had put the wrong house number on the letter.

Postie knocked on my door and gave me the letter anyway and said..

fancy Julie getting your house number wrong!

That wouldn't happen nowadays and I don't think it will happen again.

Sad, innit?
