	Whilst I was in London I have been lent a ledger which belonged to an outfitters in London. (Rellies of my friend). It's enormous and having only looked at a few pages it details uniforms made for officers and strangely an oil painting which was commissioned. All the accounts are meticulously kept and give a really interesting insight into many aspects of the military and their uniforms. It will involve months and months of researching the names and families and will be something that should keep me occupied during the winter. I will ask the owner if I can list the more interesting names so people can request a transcription. Sue (very, very happy) x
