Can anyone help me as I am trying to find out some military information about my grandfather. I believe he signed up to the Essex Regiment as he lived in either Halstead or Sible Hedingham, Essex. I also given to understand that he was a fighting solider and survived WW1. He was given a medal - not now in existence so his number is also unknown. If you need further information please let me know. |
