Emergency question

My little dog has just nicked about 5 Rennies. Goodness knows how she got hold of them as they were high up on a unit. She must have stretched a long way from the chair to reach them.

They do say keep out of reach of children, but does anyone know if they are harmful to dogs please?

Panic over. The vet finally answered the phone and said she should be ok, except she may get a bit of a gippy tummy over the next couple of days but they are not harmful for her.

That's good. I did try googling it, but nobody seemed to have asked the same question!

Best bet is to google 'Rennies', then 'search within' and put in 'contents'.
Then google 'contents' and 'search within' and put 'effect on dogs'.

Hopefully he'll just fart all night!

edit - I googled - and got conflicting reports!!
One was horrendous - the other indicated that dog digestion pills contain the same ingredients as Rennies!

Glad he'll be okay. Keep the air freshener handy!! LOL

Thanks for your replies Fiona and Maggie.

Usually she sleeps at the foot of our bed but if she's going to be farting all night, I have a feeling she'll be sleeping down here. lol

Only joking, I want to keep an eye on her. How she managed to get them beats me. They were too high for my 9 year old son to get hold of so she must have done some terrific gymnastics to grab them.
