I have grown up with Bruce Fossythe on th tellie and I love him to bits on his presentation, but, iit is time for him to go, apart from Anton Du Beck can I suggest Des Coleman, a real sweaty who does our local weather. He was in Eastenders once. He is a total lovely

I was never that keen on Bruce; but, after seeing him handle a rather awkward crowd in a nightclub in Berkshire, he went right up in my estimation.

Afraid I dont like him on SCD think it would be a lot better if it was more off the cuff and you couldnt tell he was trying to read it off the autocue.

However, I quite like him presenting on SCD, probably because he is so cheesy. However, I wish Arlene was back.

I heard somebody the other day say that some people feel if they reire then they will die, maybe thats how Bruce feels, but my Dad has just retired and he's loving it.

Strangely enough (and I am sure everyone can have an off day) I read recently how at a charity dance competition Anton and his professional partner were due to judge the competition and he was really rude to people and bad tempered at having to be there, she spent all her time trying to 'jolly' him along.

Something else that I read was about a woman who is suffering terminal cancer, asked what she would like she said she had always wanted to talk to Bruce. He was phoning her and chatting to her once a week every week. We just don't know what these stars do for people in their spare time.

I think Bruce does very well, he is one of the old school and loved by many people, but I equally think somebody else could do the job.

I also read the story about Bruce phoning the lady who was so ill and he has kept in touch with her husband. I also read about his rudeness to Justin Lee Collins.
Apparently Cilla Black is a pain in the ass with us more common folk and Lulu lives in a little Lulu world where everything is about her and can only converse with people if its about her. Her eyes glaze over and she goes into a dream world if the topic of conversation changes from all about her.
Maybe they have been caught on a bad day?
