hi guys

What family tree programme/site do you use. Im currently using both genes and ancestory.

I like the way genes displays the tree so you can see all the siblings etc too

But like anncestory for puttin in records etc.

I was just wondering does anyone use a specific programe to allow you to print off things easy and shows specific parts of the family?>

Hope someone can help

Family Tree Maker is popular amongst the gentry on Genes
a Tad expensive if you buy the pukka one( comes with loads of cds that (in MY case) were practically useless) but there is a basic FTM available for under a tenner.

FTM allows all sorts of permutations of relations, and sorts em out as well, Genes is nowhere in comparison........

I use a free download of Legacy which I like . I have looked at others but don't like them as much. Family Tree legends is similar and I like that, too.
My tree is also on GR, Ancestry and Tribal Pages. I think the GR layout is the best of the three.
