bosses daughter was inschool with our son

i always speajk to her , always treat kids like normally treat anyone, i always chat to um , never talk down to um, would always help them if they need help,
(in fact did help her once when she was taken unwell at my brothers home, as she was invited by his girlfriends daughter to a party we all went too, drove her home too,)

she saw son in town saturday night and shouted across hte road
aye i could get your mam the sack,

!!!!!!!
i asked son what was all that about when he told me,
he said he was wondering the same thing
but put it down to her beiing drunk and out with friends,

Sounds like someone needs taking down a peg or two!!
SHE couldn't get you the sack!
Unless he's got a very good reason, even her father couldn't sack you, and if he did - there's the 'unfair dismissal' route.

Sounds as if she was just showing off to her friends.

this is what i thought

but you know how it is ,
you get this niggle in your head

especially as i do try to help anyone, and dont like to think someones having laugh, or coming hte big shot

i would go nuts if it was other way round and one of our two kids had acted up like that,
my dad had his own buisness
but id never put people beneath me,
or think i was some big shot cos of it,

Maybe if you see her, you could ask her if she has a problem with the way you do your job, just to let her know you know the way she was behaving. I think she is rather too big for her boots and she was out of order altho it was the drink talking. Does she behaves arrogantly when not drunk?

I would think it was best ignored.
