Member Since: March 2007 Posts: 76 Send Message	my great grandfather adopted 2 children there are on 1911 census as adopted, through genes reunited I found one was the daughter of his daughters husbands 1st wife who died, after they were married they ran away together & left the child with her parents, never found how the other one came to be adopted I do have other children who parents have died who were brought up by other family members but were not adopted all late 1890,s 1900
