That happened with me Amanda,daughter was booked in for a c section but brought it forward a week to the day it should of been my dad's 86th birthday so we have a lovely reminder in the form of my gryoungest grandson.

Strange coincidences do turn up like that don't they . My newest Grand child was born on her G.G.Grandfathers birthday : )

I think it's wonderful that the likes of us " researchers " bring the forgotton ones back into the here and now . xxx

I had something similar with a birth cert I sent off for a few years ago. It arrived on 11 November 2004 - the birth in question was 11 November 1859 - and I only remember this because the last time I was sorting through that family file and I came across it again was - 11 November 2009.

Must admit, it made me feel a bit shivery when I realised ...

I very often find new info on or around someone's birthday...weird or what?

Popped over to Dad's for a couple of hours as my aunt is visiting and was interested in the work I'd done on the family tree.

I was digging through the certs in the box I'd taken round and I found the death cert of my G Grandfather.

I couldn't believe it when I saw the date. He died 86 yrs ago today !!!!

Got me thinking........how many people would think that two of their grand children and a great grand child would be sitting around discussing you so long after you've gone.........AND considering he was long gone when his grandchildren arrived. !!!xx
