That's so lovely to hear Shirley and for Daff and BC as well.

I just so wish that a cure could be found for everyone.

Continued good health!

I remember reading that she had the all clear..... just as my brother was told his had relapsed and he would have to have a stem cell transplant... I didn't post about him, cos you were so happy and relieved, and I didn't want to burst your bubble... but that is what brought me to the boards... my brother is fine, too... just hit the two year point after the transplant, In August.

Thank goodness they have all three done so well, and are now hale and hearty and still with us.

Loads of love and (((((((((((hugs)))))))))

She has fully recovered from her cancer, thanks for asking, Shirley. She had quite a battle on her hands but has come through it all. Sadly her husband died suddenly last year so she has her grief to deal with. She is s strong cookie, as I am sure your lovely daughter is. Bless them. BCXX

I am so happy to hear that, Shirley. I remember when your daughter developed the cancer, I think it was about the same time, or just after my lovely SIL got non-Hodgins Lymhoma. Thank God they have both responded to treatment. Great news:-) BCXX

Well daughter is now 4 years down from her last chemo for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She had her last of 6 months chemo in Oct 2005 and had her latest check up on Friday and am pleased to say all is still OK!!, on her original plan of treatment they said she would be checked every 3months for a year, then every 4 months for two years then 6 months for the 4th year with a final check at 5 years but they have done a revised plan for everyone and they check them every 6 months for the last two years,
She is very well and looking forward to getting her all clear in Oct/Nov 2010.
Thank goodness for the NHS and for the lovely nurses and Macmillan nurses who have looked after her and others so very well.Lots of people would have lost their fight many moons ago without the care and research that has gone into these conditions.
We are so gratefull we still have our girl with us and she is able to enjoy her family and grandchidren too .
