The relevant Record Office may have a Calendar of Prisoners.

You could try writing/emailing the Record Office in the appropriate area and see if they can help.

Warwickshire County Record Office has theirs online. .

You will find them on the census if they were inside on the night in question, which would be 3rd April in 1881.
