Dear All

Hello

Yes, its that time again!
When people seem to get more crazy!

Seriously, this months full moon falls in the astrological sign of Gemini. It will be at its fullest at 7-30am.

During a full moon, positive and negative emotions are working.
Sometimes there is disappointment or excitement as things seem to work well.

Things to avoid, don't tell lies and avoid confrontation.

Value what you have and tell the people you care about how you feel.

Healthwise, look after your shoulders, arms and hands.

The goal for December is working towards peace.
Its virtues are balance, hospitality, loyalty and patience.

PS. There is another full moon on 31 December.
This is a very rare occurence.....hence the phrase "once in a blue moon".

Take care

Very best wishes
xx

Blue Moon

Blue Moon Report 1 Dec 2009 16:23

An intresting fact from me (well wikipedia actually)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_moon

A blue moon is a full moon that is not timed to the regular monthly pattern. Most years have twelve full moons which occur approximately monthly, but in addition to those twelve full lunar cycles, each calendar year contains an excess of roughly eleven days. The extra days accumulate, so that every two or three years (on average about every 2.7154 years , there is an extra full moon. The extra moon is called a "blue moon." Different definitions place the "extra" moon at different times.

In calculating the dates for Lent and Easter, the Clergy identify the Lent Moon. It is thought that historically when the moon's timing was too early, they named an earlier moon as a "betrayer moon" (belewe moon), thus the Lent moon came at its expected time.
Folklore gave each moon a name according to its time of year. A moon which came too early had no folk name – and was called a blue moon – bringing the correct seasonal timings for future moons.
The Farmer's Almanac defined blue moon as an extra full moon that occurred in a season; one season was normally three full moons. If a season had four full moons, then the third full moon was named a blue moon.
Recent popular usage defined a blue moon as the second full moon in a calendar month, stemming from an interpretation error made in 1946 that was discovered in 1999.
The term "blue moon" is commonly used metaphorically to describe the rarity of an event, as in the idiomatic expression, "once in a blue moon."

Two full moons in one month:
2009: December 2, December 31 (Blue Moon on New Year's Eve)
2012: August 2, August 31
2015: July 2, July 31

Dear Mabel

Hello

Happy birthday to your husband!

Generally, there is more energy around and so a good time for celebration.

Your "moon sign" is different to the star or astrological sign.

The moon sign is calculated by the birth year and the month.

So someone could be born in April and be a Taurus but have a
moon sign of pisces or any other sign.

So the astrological signs give a general description of a person but
the moon sign will offer more info on understanding yourself better and your nature.

If you would like to PM your husbands date of birth, I can then calculate his moon sign and give more info.

Best wishes
x

I think I'm going to bring in the New year singing " Blue Moon " .....lol

I had been reading up about the Blue Moon thing earlier today , I wonder if it will be considered significant to have one of these " rare " moons leading us into the year 2010 ?
