Is there any way to turn off the flashing adverts please

If you use mozilla as your browser, there is an add blocker which gets rid of them all.

Otherwise I think that if you go to the New Zealand version of GR and log in from there, using your ordinary details, it really cuts them down. I am sure someone else will be able to advise on this

if i block the adverts i cant veiw my tree

I am using Mozilla firefox, so I don't see adverts on any site I visit at all. I can see my tree perfectly normally on here as well.

I don't know about Internet Explorer and the New Zealand site though, I had just read some posts about it in the past

I too use firefox and I have adblock so don't get any adverts. I can still see my tree.
