way back in 1971 i bought Elvis "Thats the way it is" LP, the day it came was a Thursday, i couldn't wait to go to my girlfriends that night and play it, (girlfriend now my LWD) boy oh boy was it great, just got to the track "Mary in the morning" when in came her little brat brother, i want top of the pops on, knocks the record player and put a great big scratch across the record, yesterday my new CD came, waited so long to hear "Mary in the Morning" without a scratch on, now i can't stop singing it. |
