DID ANYONE WATCH DELIA LAST NIGHT

Did anyone watch Delia Smith doing her Classic Christmas programme, last night. I was positively drooling as I watched. I do not go along with all her cream type dishes, but some of the meat dishes have, if you will forgive the pun so early in the morning, given me food for thought. Though not a particular fan, it was a lovely and heartwarming programme to watch. Did someone on here a couple of weeks ago say that they always made her 'Creole Chirstmas Cake'.
Must get off and print out the recipes of internet.

Edit to say - OH has just been and bought me the book from Tesco £12.
I do not buy many hardback books, but this is lovely, just flicking through it, and is very well illustrated and presented, and would make a lovely present for someone.
Must get off, now what can we have tonight, and Saturday super. No wonder a woman's work is never done.LOLOL

I saw some of it and there were some good things. I thought the pastry she made for the sausage rolls looked very easy to do. OK you wouldn't want to be doing some of the recipes regularly (unless you fancy a heart attack) but for a special occasion they did look good.

I saw her make roasties in one series a few years ago and have used her method ever since.

Love Delia! Saw most of the programme but am afraid I'm not that organized to start preparing fruits to marinate, etc. so many weeks ahead for the puds or mincemeat! Yikes! Xmas comes round before you know it. However, I really do rely on Delia's method of cooking a turkey (albeit a capon in my case - for which the cooking times are similar!) and have not had a disaster yet! (Now I've said that...) A million thanks Delia.
