Thinking of you Donna. I remember Bernice too, can't believe it's a year ago.

Like Jacky says it does get easier once you get all the "firsts" out of the way. Some of you might remember that I lost my dad in April last year and my father in law this July, so we are going through the "firsts" for the second year running. It is getting easier, although I never thought it would. My son got married last saturday and I was really aware of the 2 people who were missing, but I'm sure they were both there with us.

Take care Donna.

I can't believe it is a year. I lost my mum last year as well. I have found that once the 'first' for things has passed it is getting a little easier.

Hello Donna

Every time i access my tree, i always think of your Mum, when i first joined GR,your Mum was the first to give me the benefit of her vast knowledge on matters associated with Genealogy and steered me in the right direction, without that initial input I'm sure i would not have progressed as far as i have.

Bernice was always so helpful and went to extreme lengths to help anyone who had a query. I had one particular "brick wall" which i had given up on, she must have spent hours searching etc for me, and apart from her initial replies, i also got a reply some 3 months later, she had found the answer.

I will always remember Bernice, how can i forget her.

God bless you Bernice, in my eyes you will aways be a GR legend and no doubt you are one to your family.

Oh Donna, the time goes so fast yet it must seem an age without your Mum to talk with. I am sure she is with you always, watching over you and all her family with love and pride.

Take care, and stay strong, one day you will be together but meantime you have a lot to give and can carry your Mum's kindness as inspiration.

love
