Word of warning dont go to Limone if you have trouble walking much to hilly lovely when you get down to the where the ferries go from, but nearly killed me, .... Garda town is lovely they have a great market right on the edge of the lake and so many places to get to via the ferries.Sirmone, Malcesine, Salou, all within easty reach... we went to Riva del Garda first time, but it was a struggle to get many choices with the ferries. south of the lake is better.
we also went to Lake Maggiore. so beautiful. again many places to visit....
always had good weather, we went with Leger to Riva, First Choice to Limone, and Shearings to Garda ....

We went to Lake Garda earlier this year with on of the travel companies. Package holiday - included pick up from the airport and also offered several journeys during the week - to Verona, Venice, trip round the lake etc.

Lake Garda is beautiful. Hotel was fabulous as very few Brits there so could not hear any bad language!

Cannot remember the name of the company but OH found the details in one of the Sunday supplements I think. If I remember it I will come back and add it for you.

Hi, Sue we love Lake Garda, stayingat the south end, although we have only gone with tours.but I am sure there are many villas to stay in...there are lots of camp sites all around the lakes, my friends go every year and says they are top quality sites....so good luck with you search....

Hi Sue. Sorry, I can't help as I've never been to them, but my mum did when she was alive. Think you would be best to try to find a company specialising in these kind of holidays.
Have you tried googling them.

Hope you have a lovely time, you luck so and so lol
