Got most of my pressies and even did my cards lastnight :))

I am putting my tree and all the decs up at the weekend........ hubby wouldn't let me last weekend, as we were away on the Saturday, and I was tired on the Sunday..... yeh, I love it when it all looks so bright and Christmassy.... otherwise it is so dull and dark in the evening, isn't it?

Noooo i still have me shopping to do, but i am putting up me tree this weekend

Our decs will go up next week. Well some bits are already up but the tree will be put up when we come back from Torquay.

Dear Elfvis - aren't they old enough to throw money at them. Mine are at last, but we too, used to have to follow the Argos Bible.
In previous years I have made up a large bag of ' surprise bits' and given some money. This year I asked whether they wanted money or gifts. Money they said. Fine said I. Only ,the other day when I was in Sainsbury's I had a pang of the guilts, and bought a few things, so that they have something to open on the big day. What am I like, an over indulgent Mamma, and long may I be so.
On Saturday, OH has got to go dern sawf, all day. So I am having a mammoth 'cook-in'. Well he would buy me the new Delia cookbook after watching the programme on Tuesday night.
So this morning, whilst out having me corn done, I had to take him to the electrical shop to buy two new freezers. Well they will come in after Christmas, as we have an allotment, and never enough freezer space.
However, I will be logged on, and if anyone is being offensive to anyone, I shall have to batter them with me cake whisks.LOLOL
Decs and tree going up next week, possibly a little early for me, but I am not having that Daff one, outdoing me.LOLOL

Well I put my tree up 2 days ago. Its the earliest I have ever put it up but it looks lovely and is DONE so I can concentrate on everything else without feeling rushed. The baubles and icicles are hanging on the mirrors and it looks bright and cheery. Been hoovering up all the glitter and mess today. No more dusting to do now till after christmas!!!!!! lol

Not got my tree up yet..too early for me. I'll be getting the help from my Grandsons so will have to wait till a suitable day they are here.
Mind you I think it's more the chocolates than anything else they are interested in lol
I've got tiny knitted stockings I put bars of chocolate/sweets in and they get them every time they are here.

Thats a lovely idea, the tiny knitted stockings with goodies inside Marion. I bet they check them out straightaway.

Yes they do Ann,head straight for the tree lol.
The stockings are big enough to hold a milkyway or a fudge sticking out .

lolol...... I was supposed to go out shopping tomorrow, but don't think I'll be able to walk far, lolol.... these new tablets are better than a bottle or three of wine, lol

Still... I have a large delivery arriving this evening... all the pickles, the booze, mixers etc, selection boxes, choccies and biccies... that sort of thing... I'll get the fresh closer to the day... and get the decs up this weekend...... so it is all coming together... still don't know what to get hubby... he is being a pain in the bum (although a sweet one, lol) and just tells me that having a Christmas together is prezzie enough... all say *awwww*... but then I'd have an attack of the guilts, too, lol

I have loads of little bits and bobs for the granddaughters.... Bratz, My little Pony (Littlest littlie has just discovered them, lol... they are not *my little pony*... they are hers, lol... *Mine 'orse* as she says, lol) pots and pans etc for their little cookers....Hannah Montana stuff... clothes and boots.... colouring and craft stuff.....loads of bits and bobs, as I said.

Right... off to meddle with the dinner.... lol!
