My thanks to all you kind animal lovers who wished him well. He looks as if he has done 9rounds with Muhamed Ali and is not out of the woods yet but he is home and has not long ago been out and marked his home teritory tail never stopped wagging. He has also had his meal, the first thing he looked for as he got in the door. We are having an early night as it has been avery stressful day and I am looking after my nieces german shorthair tomorrow and back to the vets with Merlin plus work 3 'til 6 pm at least I wont have to be up while 6 am unlike this morning 5am but at least I don't have time to be bored. Thanks again. Elaine. |

Poor Merlin. I'm sorry he had to have his eye taken out. Lovely to hear how he came home tail wagging and happy though. It must have been an awful day for you all. But now he will be able to recover and have a happy pain free life xxx( for Merlin) |

Am wondering how to cope with our cat, Lizzie, who will sometime soon, when the vet has a slot to do it, have to have her teeth out. She has to go without food from 8pm the evening before, and she is used to a feed about 9.30pm with breakfast about 7.30 am How to cope with her wanting to be fed I dont know. |

Hope your cat takes the op as well as Merlin has. How old is she? Best feed her as late as you can and have an early night to confuse her time wise. Morning you will feel worse than she does and if her teeth are bad the relief when they are out will make eating a real pleasure for her. Bet as soon as she comes home and is out of the anaesthetic she will tuck into her food, animals are not as wimpish as we are. Let me know how she gets on. Elaine. |
