Evening all, it has been warm here today with sun for most of it. We have done some more around the house and garden and just eaten so time for feet up :-D :-D

Its chilly out again hardly seen the sun this weekend really so just chilling out with a cuppa .

That reminded me of a job hubby and a friend to do abroad somewhere and needed a special tool made over there, they managed to tell the factory owner what they wanted, measurements etc. It was made in a couple of days and they paid the bloke the amount it would have cost over here to make. Well he shut the factory and gave all the staff the rest of the week off because he made enough money in that one job to be able to do it. Happens here all the time doesn't it......NOT.

I am not sure what he will do with them yet,we shall see when he has them all sorted properly as some are quite specialist.

Does / did he donate his workshop tools to charity? My hubby couldn't do that with some of his because he inherited them and they had a bit of a give away stamp on them.

Afternoon all, I retired at 32 as OH did not want me to work while we had little ones. I did loads of voluntary work though and also helped run the business of course.
What a day :-0 we have sorted loads more of the workshop tools and I am really surprised just how brutal OH has been :-D. We have a large box to get rid of and yet more to sort.

I retired at age 66 and jolly glad I did too. :-)

Morning Maz, we are having chicken today, it's cold here now, winter draws on and vest and hot water bottle lol.
I didn't find my dead person last night so I will try another site and there is no one left to ask but I'll get him.
The time will go quite quickly for your retirement, it takes a couple of weeks to realise you have. x

I am just cooking brisket ,Its raining but hoping it will clear I am going to put the washing out and se if it does clear up a bit
My Family history needs work drastically ,However I keep up with Auntie which helps a little ,8mths or so I retire ,though I am going to do 2 days a week
I am tired today so chilling out a little too

Well that's it for me for tonight, haven't found him ............ yet.

There wasn't a lot of time for too many cuddles, but we had some!! She gets so excited in the car when R gets[art of the way here as she knows the route, She's tje same when she sees them pull up outside when they are collecting her. I won't be having her for at least a couple of weeks now, as ZR is away all next weekend on a business trip to Majorca, so M will be on her own with her.

You have been busy, LG :-) It was lovely here this morning, but was more cloudy although still pleasantly warm this afternoon. I had fur again, so we spent an hour in the park this afternoon. Apart from that, stripping the bed and doing two loads of washing is about all I have done today, although I did manage a quick vacuum round before R & M came to pick fur up.

We off to the cinema tomorrow afternoon to see the new Downton Abbey film, so I am rather excited about that. My friend messaged me yesterday to ask if I wanted to see it and I am waiting for her to come back to me with details of when she is available as it also her birthday next week, so I could finish up seeing the film twice. I can't really tell her that I am going tomorrow!!

I won't be shouting tonight boo.
