ZZzzz Report 12 Apr 2022 22:34

I have never done that in my whole working life, if I called in sick it was because I was sick.

YG

YG Report 12 Apr 2022 22:29

My conscience won't let me go sick even when I am, unless I can barely hold my head up :-0 :-0 :-0

Not sure what the world is coming to one way or another, LG :-0

Have you got your lump hammer handy! It was a 4.40am wake up this morning :-0 I know you are supposed to need less sleep as you get older but its getting a bit silly now :-D :-D :-D

YG

YG Report 12 Apr 2022 22:21

There were too many before Covid, even now :-| :-| I suppose the majority will be able to claim sick pay, depending on their contracts

LaGooner Report 12 Apr 2022 21:41

YG

YG Report 12 Apr 2022 21:25

Evening everyone :-)

I think there is a fair number of people using Covid as an excuse to be off sick when they are not.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 12 Apr 2022 21:16

YG

YG Report 11 Apr 2022 22:26

I guess some people don't care about their surroundings, but as they applied for an exchange, surely the HA would have inspected and noticed it, so they couldn't have been up to the mark not to notice it :-|

I am off to bed now, LG, as I beat ZZzzz for early rising this morning ....... 5.15am :-| :-

Sleep well | :-) <3

I don't understand it either as the cracks are really bad and I wonder what could happen if the foundations subside even more. We have been assured that it is safe for now but the previous tenants must have realised it could have been more serious or did theyt. Too much time on phones and facebook methinks to notice anything about the house.

YG

YG Report 11 Apr 2022 22:04

Oh that's naughty of them. Why the hell didn't they get it sorted while they lived there. It is the HA;s responsibility, although I guess they would have needed to decorate the rooms afterwards.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 11 Apr 2022 21:40

I bet it is ,we also have a structural crack right down the outside wall which has cracked the plaster in 2 rooms :-|. We had a surveyor come to see it and they are saying that the foundations on the back corner of the house will need underpinning. We are now waiting for the HA insurance to pay up to get it sorted. The previous tenants had not reported it and hid it with their furniture so we did not notice it.

YG

YG Report 11 Apr 2022 21:24

I bet its not as bad as mine :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
