I think Virgin Media don't care as long as the money is coming in, others I know are having problems with them.

Why should having it switched off for a while make any difference. I would have thought it would still work once it was plugged in again :-0

Evening YG, one of the parcel firms are great as we know the local courier so the parcels are always delivered properly. :-D. We did find the phone but now have the problem that we can't get the caller ID to work even after 3 phone calls to Virgin Media. :-| :-|

I agree with ZZzzz that the couriers have a far too heavy delivery schedule, so don't have the time for pleasantries! The dropping off and ringing the bell then walking off and being out of the gate before you had to chance to answer started with the pandemic in order to keep them safe, but it has now continued and seems to be the 'norm' now.

Maz, good to see you again!! You keep disappearing but we know you are always busy! My steam is fast running out and the 'get up and go' has 'got up and gone' :-D

I had a parcel weighing 16 kilos delivered, he rang the door bell dumped it on the doorstep and took a photo but didn't have time to lift it into the porch so I had to lift and drag it in on my own.

I have some parcels due on by Thursday I wonder if they will arrive on time

I spent a lot of time waiting for a delivery again :-( it is my belief the drivers are not given enough time to deliver and far to many parcels too.

It was a lovely day today weather wise ,all the washing at work was out on the line .
So it will be dry put away probably not !!! will do that in morning .
I have been busy this weekend working ,hence i was missing from here ,and I do not know where the time goes either ,i come home with all kinds of tasks in my head to do ,sit down get distracted and then its bed time .

I'm back for a little while, had good chat with my friend and talked about what we are going to be doing when I get there.

My goodness you have been busy, I feel tired just thinking about it :-D. We have unpacked and sorted a few more boxes and done some small DIY jobs

It has been quite a pleasant day today, so had a fairly lazy morning, but talked myself into going for a walk in the park. The first one this year and I quite enjoyed it. The pond has had all the overgrown stuff cut down and new chippings down on the pathways going all the way round the pond . The birds were all out on the grass having their tea and they take no notice of anyone so are obviously used to people being around. I need to start with more regular walks to loosen my thighs up after too long spent sitting working and watching tv through the winter!

I then came back and dead headed the big hydrangea outside the lounge window, so all the cutting back and pruning is done now.
