Member Since: June 2007 Posts: 21,978 Send Message	Evening everyone :-) I love to see a flame or two, but the trouble of having to clear grates out, empty ashes and the cost would put me off now, although I can accept artificial flames now!! On the other hand, I could add too much to the coal fire and set the chimney of fire with the sole purpose of getting the fire brigade out :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D That has been known, although not done intentionally!!

	Nah even that wouldn't tempt me but I do like the smell of smoke of other peoples fire.

	I like looking into the flames and the smell if you put pine cones or orange peel on it. It would bring back some lovely memories for me.

	My Dad was a builder and I remember when open fires were back in fashion and chimneys were being built back to accommodate that.

	Funny you should say that, we had the parkray taken out years ago and the chimney boarded up so we don't have one now really. :-D

	Ok, back to normal behaviour now, whatever that is lol. Glad all is ok now LG even minor disasters can be bad when you are in a new house.
